Show the number without showing everything

The Proof team ·

Most people want to prove they're doing well without putting their exact revenue on the internet. So Proof never makes you choose between all or nothing. Proof checks the real figure, and you decide how much of it the public sees.

The six ways to show a figure

  • Exact: the figure to the dollar.
  • Rounded: rounded down to a step you pick, like the nearest $1,000.
  • Threshold: "$50,000+". Proof confirms the real figure is at or above it.
  • Range: "$40K to $60K". The real figure sits inside it.
  • Verified only: no amount at all, just that the month was checked.
  • Private: only you can see it.

Whatever you pick, the exact figure stays separate from what's shown. Rounding, thresholds and ranges are always your input, and you can change them later.

Which one should I use?

Sharing a milestone? A threshold reads cleanly: "$100K+ in March". Talking to a buyer or investor? Exact, or a private data room. Just want the verified mark? Verified only.
